The Risk Register holds your identified risks and, with the flexibility of linking to multiple contexts, it serves as a central register that can support various planning and tracking needs.

The Risk Register can be linked to one or more:

  • Program Boards

  • Solution Boards

  • Collections

Once the Risk Register is linked to these entities, individual risks can also be associated directly with them.

The linking of the Risks

Context

Linking Details

Program Board

  • When a risk is created from a Program Board, it is automatically linked to that specific Program Board.

  • A single risk can now be linked to multiple Program Boards.

  • To adjust these associations, open the risk and select or deselect the relevant Program Boards.

Solution Board

  • When a risk is created from a Solution Board, it is automatically linked to that Solution Board.

  • A risk can also be linked to multiple Solution Boards.

Collections

  • When a risk is created from a Collection Board, it is automatically linked to that Collection.

  • A risk can be associated with multiple Solution Boards through its Collection connections.

How to Link Risk Register

In the Risk Register, the Link Board option displays all three types of boards for linking: Program Boards, Solution Boards, and Collections. Once you’ve set these associations, they’ll appear under the "Linked Boards (count)" button.

Create a Risk

When you create a risk from within a Program Board, Solution Board, or Collection, the context is automatically set. For example, if you create a new risk while on a Program Board, the name of that Program Board will be preselected.

Filter the Risks

When filtering risks within a specific context—such as a Program Board—selecting the first option, "No Program Board," will display all risks that aren't linked to any particular Program Board. To view risks associated with a specific Program Board, simply select that board from the list.

The same logic applies when filtering in other contexts, such as Solution Boards or Collections.
