Risk import allows you to bring structured risk data from spreadsheets or external systems into Kendis. Importing risks is available only from the Global Risk Register, not from individual boards.
This guide explains:
Importing risks via Paste Data or Upload File options.
Mapping file columns to Kendis fields.
Previewing and validating risk data.
Managing and exporting risks after import.
Before You Start
Import is available only under Risk Register (left navigation).
Supported formats: .xlsx, .xls, .csv (max 5MB).
Maximum 500 rows when pasting data.
The first row should contain column headers.
Step 1: Open the Target Risk Register
From the left navigation panel, click Risk Register.
Select the register where you want to import risks.
Inside the register, click the Download icon.
Select Import Risk.
The Import Risks window will open.
Step 2: Import Your Data
You can either paste structured data or upload a file.
Option A: Paste Data
Use this option when risks are already available in a spreadsheet or document.
Stay on the Paste Data tab.
Copy your risk table from Excel, Google Sheets, or another source.
Paste it into the input box.
Ensure “First row contains headers” is checked.
Click Next.
Kendis will process the pasted data and move to column mapping.
Option B: Upload an Excel or CSV File
Use this option when exporting risks from another system.
Switch to the Upload File tab.
Drag and drop your file or click to browse.
If you are unsure about formatting, click Download Sample Template.
Align your file with the sample template structure.
Upload the finalised file.
Click Next.
You will proceed to column mapping.
Step 3: Map Columns
Kendis fields must be mapped to your file columns.
For each required field:
Select the matching column from your file.
Review the sample data shown on the right.
Ensure all mandatory fields (marked with *) are mapped correctly.
Click Next.
Correct mapping ensures smooth validation and accurate import.
Step 4: Preview & Validate
Kendis validates your data before final import.
You will see:
